Dill Dip

Ingredients:

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

 

Instructions:

1. In a bowl, combine the sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix well until smooth.

2. Add the chopped dill, parsley (if using), minced garlic, lemon juice, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.

3. Stir all the ingredients together until well combined.

4. Taste the dip and adjust the seasonings to your liking. Add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if desired.

5. Cover the bowl and refrigerate the dill dip for at least 1 hour to allow the flavours to develop.

6. Before serving, give the dip a good stir.

7. Serve the dill dip with your choice of veggies, chips, crackers, or bread. It's also great as a spread for sandwiches or as a topping for baked potatoes.
